True Blood (Season 5, Episode 7) “Somebody That I Used to Know”

In this episode “at Authority headquarters, the Chancellors revel in the afterglow of recent events; Eric gets a message from Godric; Bill is shaken by a distant memory. Helped by Claude and his sisters, Sookie and Jason visit the site of their parents’ deaths, with shocking results. An emotional Luna tries to walk in Sam’s shoes. Hoyt’s new pals bring him a present; Lafayetteleads a séance to purge a curse; J.D. ups the stakes of his fight with Alcide”.  This was cool episode with Soki being threatened by the vampire that she connected with at the bridge. There was also some good scenes where Luna tansformed into Sam so there were scenes with two Sams.

True Blood (Season 5, Episode 7) In the Beginning

In the episode, “As Sookie embraces her human side, she considers a life without her faerie powers. Salome shows just where her true allegiance rests. Sam uses his sense of smell to locate the shooters. Alcide gets ready for a fight.Lafayettesearches for Jesus’ body. Hoyt finds himself a new group of friends.”  There is a great bloody scene after the vampires drank Lilith’s blood from the glass jar. They are got high and went on a killing spree of a wedding party at bar.  Then Lilith materialized out of the blood into a naked woman walking around. Typical, fun True Blood!

Grimm (Season 2, Episode 4) Quill

In this episode “While working a case, Nick discovers a new disease that targets Wesen… and puts Rosalee and Monroe at risk. Meanwhile, Renard learns of a fugitive that has made his way from Europe toPortland.”  This was another great episode of this intriguing series. The disease that was attaching the creatures caused gross blisters of oozing sores on their bodies and made them violent and murderous kind of like zombies.  It is also fun to see how well Hank is adapting to the new knowledge of Nick being a Grimm and that the creatures exit.  Juliette still does not have her memory back yet but she is trying hard to remember.

Breaking Bad (Season 5, Episode 8) Gliding Over All

In this season finale episode “Walt attends to some loose ends and in the process makes a dangerous decision that will affect his entire family.”  The loose ends turn out to be hiring Todd’s uncle to arrange to have 9 men killed within 2 minutes at three separate prisons. Walter then makes a business arrangement with Lydiat o supply meth to be sold in the Czech Republic. Lydia uses her job at her company to have the meth smuggled into the country in sealed barrels.  Three months of successful batches leads Skyler to show Walt the huge stack of cash in the storage locker and she asks him, “How much is enough?” Walt shows up at Jesse’s house and pays him the money he is owed and then tells Skyler he is done.  Then “One day at the White household, the kids are playing around the pool. Walt and Marie are over and things are upbeat and cheery. Everyone is talking very happily. Hank heads off to the washroom. He decides to grab something to read and finds Walt Whitman’s “Letters of Grass”. Walt left it here. He opens the cover and finds an inscription there: “To my other favorite W.W., It’s an honor working with you. Fondly, G.B.”. Hank gets an eerie flashback to the super lab workbook and his discussion with Walt over something Gale had written there. Suddenly, Hank realizes that Walt played a much bigger role than he could have ever imagined.”  Now we have to wait 10 months until next season!

ParaNorman (2012)

The storyline of this stop motion movie is the following “In the town of Blithe Hollow, Norman Babcock is a boy who can speak to the dead, but no one besides his eccentric new friend, Neil, believes his ability is real. Together with unexpected new companions,Normanstruggles to save his town, only to discover the horrific truth of the curse. With that insight,Normanmust resolve the crisis for good as only he can.”  This movie used an unique combination of stop motion and cgi effects. It made for an impressive visual experience and like the tag line says “It’s all fun and games until someone raises the dead.”

Weeds (Season 3, Episode 4) Sh*t Happens

In this 2007 episode,  “Peter’s DEA partner questionsNancyabout his whereabouts; a builder (Matthew Modine) of “values-based” communities asks a zoning favor of the Agrestic city council; Shane helps Nancy with her résumé so that she can get a “real job.”  It was a funny episode where Nancy lands a real job because her hair smelled like coconuts. In this episode, Doug was able to reclaim his seat on the city council where the city is considering allowing a neighboring city to pump shi*t under Agrestic. In future episode it will be interesting to see how long Nancy is able to keep a “real” job.
